David Cosby Chartered Surveyors are based in Farthingstone, just outside of Towcester. Established in 2003 by David Cosby, he was joined by his wife, Natasha, 3 years ago. Here we talk to Natasha to find out a bit more on this local, family business.
So, what are your roles in the business Natasha?
David is the principal director and he is a Chartered Building Surveyor. I am a qualified former property solicitor and put my career on hold three years ago to join David as the surveying business was expanding.
Tell us about your new venture!
We are really pleased to announce the launch of our new residential estate agency service. David and I are both passionate about property and with our combined 40 years’ experience as professionals in the property industry we really want to offer homeowners and buyers something new.
So how will you be different to other local agents?
We are Chartered Surveyors and are regulated by the RICS, that is in addition to being members of the NAEA and the TPO Redress Scheme; we have extremely high consumer standards to meet. Our legal and surveying skills will also be an asset in helping parties to reach exchange and completion.
What will your estate agency package include?
Professional photographs, floor plans, EPC, accompanied viewings and Rightmove listing as standard. There is nothing to pay up front and we are currently promoting our current Springtime Offer of just 0.5% (plus VAT) payable only on completion.
